Mission
To supplement the existing work and advocacy needs that individuals,
residents, activists, advocates and nonprofits have by using technology
for social change.
Program
Description
The Techno Activism program provides positive exposure to technology
and resources to support indviduals, residents, activism, advocates
and community based organizations complete their missions and
advocate for their cause. Activities will include positive hands-on
experiences with technology. The activities are designed to provide
resources, increase awareness of gender issues related to social
change and technology, build confidence, and support systems to
become productive advocates.

Goals
- Provide educational enrichment for the purpose advocacy.
- Increase civic engagement for individuals and activists.
- Help social action change agents see technology as a tool
and viable option to help their cause.
- To provide activities that empower, encourage, and educate.
Beneficiaries
Individuals and advocates that work with low budgets and resources.
Hours
of Operation:
Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6pm - 8pm or 6:45pm – 8:45pm
